LEAP#268 ChainBlocks
My neighbour is developing a prototyping system called Chain Blocks by PrexLab, and passed me some to try out. Since I’ve got digital pots on the brain at the moment .. time for yet more doodling on an oscilloscope! So I made an “X-Y Plotter Chain Block”. As always, all notes, schematics and code are in the Little Electronics & Arduino Projects repo on GitHub

LEAP#267 Cuttle Scope Graffiti
Blinking an LED is a pretty mundane test for the beautiful BoldportClub Cuttle. For something more interesting (if not useful!) I decided to get it to write its name on a digital oscilloscope. The X-Y scope inputs are controlled with an MCP42010 digital potentiometer. As always, all notes, schematics and code are in the Little Electronics & Arduino Projects repo on GitHub

LEAP#266 The BoldportClub Cuttle
The Cuttle is a bare-bones Arduino-compatible kit from The Boldport Club. But not just any clone .. this must be the best looking board I have! I now have three of them for prototyping with style;-) As always, all notes, schematics and code are in the Little Electronics & Arduino Projects repo on GitHub

LEAP#265 Doodling on an Oscilloscope
More of my minor obsession with digital potentiometers! The MCP42010 dual digital potentiometer is pretty nifty. And two channels means it is possible to control two inputs for an XY plot on an oscilloscope. So time to get drawing! Of course, the first thing to try is the classic Christmas Tree.
